Welcome to Tethered Love!

As I walk in a journey of faith, restoration and healing I realized that I wasn’t doing anything on my own. Christ holds me in the palm of His hand. Every move I make is tethered to His love for me.

“For I am the LORD your God, who holds your right hand….” Isaiah 41:13

I came to the LORD in a moment of crisis, like many before me, and most likely like many coming behind me. My life changed instantly. The transformation was radical and I’ve devoted to living my life without abandon for Him. Wherever He calls, I will go. Scripture tells us not to be fearful, but if I’m honest, I do much of what He calls me to in fear. But the crucial point is, I do it. I know if He’s called me, He will see me through.

I’ve recently received my B.A. in Christian Ministries from California Baptist University. I started that journey in my fifties. I was afraid I was too old to learn, too old to fit in, too old to complete it. But God… I now have a Master’s in Theology from Gateway Seminary and am starting on my DMin. journey soon!

I have 5 adult children and eight grandchildren. My husband and I are both in Seminary and wondering where God is leading us. We press on knowing that He has a plan and we need to be obedient to whatever and wherever that leads.

My past is my past, but my future is His. My life verse comes out of Luke 7:47 “…her many sins have been forgiven.”
